🏈 Music on Main Block Party is bringing Panther Pride to Main Street!

The Portland Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Community Pep Rally to help kick off the 2026 football season, and we’re ready to see Portland show up for our Panthers!

We’ll be celebrating our PHS, Portland Middle School, and PYFL football players and cheerleaders as they get ready to take on a new season.

Come hungry! Fouled Anchor BBQ, owned by a PHS Football Alumni and PQBC member, will be teaming up with The Panther Den for the evening to serve up some delicious food on Main Street.

Mattie Taylor will also be performing live, making it a great night to bring the family, grab some food, enjoy the music, and support our Panthers.

Wear your purple and come help us fill Main Street with Panther Pride. From our youngest Panthers to our Friday Night Lights crew, let’s show them Portland is behind them!

SOUPS ON!!! Dinner bell is ringing here at the corner of HWY 52 and Jackson Rd again in Portland. We're next to our friends here at Delani's and Pelican's. Stop by and get a plate of the Flight Deck nachos with pulled pork or a Tower Sandwich with brisket. Don't forget about our homemade sides and desserts. #

We'll be at Pelicans tomorrow, Monday, August 17th from 10:30-2. Keep the heat out of your kitchen and let us take care of lunch....take extra for supper! Have a great evening and see y'all tomorrow!

SOUPS ON!!! Y'all hear that? The dinner bell is ringing here at Walmart in Springfield. Come on by and get yourself a pulled pork sandwich or a Flight Deck nacho plate topped with brisket and jalapeños. Make sure you partner it with a homemade side and you can finish it off with a homemade dessert. Don't cook supper tonight. It's too hot to heat up the kitchen. Let us take care of that for you. Come on by let us fill your table. #

That's right folks, you read it correctly. We will be on Main st on Aug 27th celebrating the HS, MS, and PYFL teams and Cheerleaders. We'll even listen to a little music as well. So make sure you have empty bellies, come by and pick up a pulled pork sandwich or some brisket nachos ( a lot of folks like those). We can't wait, and see ya'll there!!

Portland, it’s time to PACK MAIN STREET with PANTHER PRIDE! 💜

The Portland Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Music on Main Block Party Thursday, August 27th, and we’re excited to be right in the middle of all the fun!

Come downtown from 6:00–8:30 PM as we celebrate PHS Football, Cheer & Band, along with Portland West & East Cheer and PYFL Cheer.

Mattie Taylor will be providing the live music, and Main Street will be full of Panther fans ready to kick off another great season!

Graphic Obsessions will be OPEN during the event, so make sure you stop in and see us! Faithful Grace Co. will also be set up inside the store offering permanent jewelry.

The PHS Football Alumni-owned food truck, Fouled Anchor BBQ, Will also be there cooking up some delicious food!

Bring a chair, wear your PURPLE, grab your Panther crew and come help us show these kids just how much this community supports them.
