Laconia Ale Works is Sparta and Alleghany County’s first brewery! Our modest seven barrel brew house focuses on a wide variety of beers.

We offer everything from light lagers, hoppy pales, & dark porters; we’re sure to have a pint for you to enjoy.

Oh boy, what a week it’s been🙁 ❤️

Y’all really showed up for Open Mic Night to help support those affected by the fires. 20% of all sales from Wednesday night is going DIRECTLY to the residents affected. We’ll continue collecting donations through Saturday and will write individual checks to those residents next week. Thank you, Sparta, for showing up for your community ❤️

🎶 TONIGHT: BIG DADDY LOVE Acoustic Trio is playing! Y’all know Brian & Joey, our hometown boys from Sparta, so come out and show them some love! Enjoy some great music, grab some delicious food from Bun & Bite Grill, and make a donation while you’re here.

🎵 SATURDAY: It’s the annual Play Music on the Porch Day! Join Mike & Jason on our front porch/patio stage from 4–6 PM — or come jam all day if you’d like to bring your instrument!

Yesterday was heavy💔

We are here for our community, and today we will donate 20% of TOTAL sales to those affected by the fire.

It’s devastating for something like this to happen to a small, beautiful community like ours. But we have no doubt that the amazing people of Sparta & Alleghany County will come together, support one another, and help our neighbors and fellow businesses through this difficult time❤️
