Road closures and checkpoints are in place for one reason: the safety of our community and the first responders working tirelessly to protect it.

There are many moving parts during an active wildfire response, and keeping these areas secure allows emergency personnel to do their jobs safely and efficiently.

Please be prepared before you travel, follow all closures and directions from law enforcement, and do not drive around barricades.

🚒 Much of Sisters remains under a Level 1 Evacuation Notice (Be Ready). We are extremely grateful for all of the firefighters working tirelessly around the clock to protect our community.

We are open! Even though we are still at a level 1 -we plan to be open the rest of the weekend as long as it is safe to be. The firefighters & first responders have been doing a great job getting this fire under control and keeping our community safe-we are very grateful for them ❤️
