Sisters Coffee Company began in 1989 when owners Winfield and Joy Durham converted an old cabin in Sisters, Oregon, into a retail and wholesale coffee roasting business. The business has since expanded to a much larger cabin and roastery in Sisters, a coffeehouse in Portland, and over 200 wholesale accounts in the Oregon area. Through it all, Sisters Coffee is still providing customers with fresh roasted coffee, served up with the original old-fashioned rustic charm. For a lunch that doesn't miss, picture this:
Natural roasted turkey stacked high on two slices of jalapeño cornbread loaf, tucked under a layer of Tillamook Cheddar and crisp Granny Smith apple, dressed with house-made cranberry mayo. Sweet, savory, a little sharp, and exactly what we want for fall. Served at our Jackstraw and Sisters cafes with chips and a pickle.

Snow, rain, and glacial melt channel down from the Cascades, gathering in the streams and rivers that shape Central Oregon. The Deschutes River Basin is the landscape we call home—and at Sisters Coffee, it runs especially close to us along Wychus Creek.

Our newest coffee, River Blend, is a dark roast that represents our love of rivers, both here and across the world. The coffee is Peruvian but the benefit is local: $2 from every bag sold goes directly to the Deschutes River Conservancy's work in sustaining the health of our rivers.

Meet River Blend.

This dark roast comes from the Valle Verde cooperative in Peru, where hundreds of coffee-producing families are working to protect their own watershed through the Todos al Agua program.

River Blend carries that same spirit home—to support the waters that flow through our own backyard. That's why we’re partnering with the Deschutes River Conservancy to bring that work a little closer to home. $2 from every bag sold is donated to the DRC because healthy rivers matter. 💙
