💜❤️ A NIGHT WE WILL NEVER FORGET! 🙏

On May 17th, our lives changed forever when our daughter Ashtyn suffered sudden cardiac arrest on the soccer field. Because of the quick actions of her coaches and an AED being nearby, our little girl is still here with us today. ❤️

Last night, we were blessed with the opportunity to share Ashtyn’s story at halftime of the UW soccer game. Standing there with our daughter, knowing how close we came to losing her, was an emotional moment we will never forget. 🥹

A HUGE thank you to UW Soccer, Adam, and the entire DP Foundation for the incredible hospitality and love shown to our family! 💜💛

The DP Foundation also blessed us with TWO AEDs! One will stay on our Southern Nibble food truck, and the other will travel with me in my vehicle. We pray we never need them, but if we can help save even one life, it means everything.

We share Ashtyn’s story because we know firsthand that CPR SAVES LIVES. AEDs SAVE LIVES. QUICK ACTION SAVES LIVES. ❤️

We are forever grateful for the coaches who saved our daughter, everyone who has supported our family, and the opportunity to turn one of the scariest days of our lives into something that could help someone else.

Because of an AED, we get more birthdays, more hugs, more laughter, and more memories with our little girl. And that is something we will never take for granted. 🙏❤️

If sharing her story saves just ONE life, it’s worth it.

This is an event that hits especially close to home for our family. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of a night dedicated to raising awareness about sudden cardiac arrest and the importance of having AEDs available. ❤️⚡

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE DP FOUNDATION! ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to the DP Foundation for generously donating an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to Southern Nibble! 🙏❤️

As a food truck, we’re constantly out in our community at festivals, events, games, and places where there are large crowds. Thanks to the DP Foundation, we now have an AED on board our food truck at all times, so we can be better prepared in the event of a cardiac emergency.
You never know when an emergency might happen, and having an AED nearby can make a life-saving difference. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to carry one with us wherever we go.

As many of you know, Ashtyn our 12 year old daughter suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while at soccer. She survived because of the fast thinking and quick actions of her soccer coaches, along with the readiness and immediate availability of an AED on the field. What happened to our daughter forever changed the way we look at AEDs and just how important it is to have one close by.

Look for our AED sticker on the truck! It will let everyone know that an AED is available on board should it ever be needed.

To the DP FOUNDATION, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! ❤️ Your generosity is helping us make our community a little safer, and we truly cannot express how much we appreciate this incredible donation.

We are honored to carry it with us and hope it never has to be used but we’ll always be prepared. 🙏❤️
