🐺🏈 HELP US FEED THE PACK! 🏈🐺

Football season is here, and Southern Nibble is once again looking to partner with local businesses, restaurants, food vendors, and community members who want to help feed our Sequim Wolves on Friday nights! 💜💛

Southern Nibble has been helping with Friday night pregame meals for five seasons now, and last year we had an AMAZING amount of support from local businesses in our community. We’d love to keep that going this season!

Each week we’re feeding roughly 50 players + 9 coaches before they take the field.

💰 The cost for us to prepare a full meal for the team is approximately $600 per week, or about $10 per person.

There are a couple ways you can help:

🍽️ Are you a local restaurant or food vendor?
Pick a Friday and provide the team’s pregame meal!

❤️ Want to sponsor a meal instead?
Donate toward the approximately $600 cost and Southern Nibble will take care of cooking and feeding the team!

You can sponsor the whole meal, partner with another business, or contribute toward one. Every little bit helps.

This is about more than dinner. These kids put in a ton of work representing our school and our community, and sending them into Friday night with a good meal and the support of Sequim behind them means a lot.

Well y’all… it looks like we most likely won’t be back to work until Thursday at Mighty Pine. 😩

If you think this sucks… trust us, WE THINK IT SUCKS MORE! 😂😭

Between taking our first real vacation in forever and coming home to a food truck that decided it also wanted an extended vacation, August definitely did not go according to plan. 🤦‍♂️

BUT… we’re getting there, and fingers crossed 🤞 this is our tentative schedule going forward:

The Lot • 10 AM–2 PM

We close at 2 on Fridays because Caleb coaches and has to get ready for Friday night football! 🏈

😩 WELL… OUR WEEK IS OFFICIALLY SHOT.

We really thought today was going to be the day we finally got some good news. The last piece of the puzzle for the food truck came in…

AND IT WAS THE WRONG PART. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️

So unfortunately, Southern Nibble will NOT be out this week, and right now it’s looking like mid to late next week before we can hopefully get back up and running.

Of course, this is kinda how our luck rolls 😂

We take our first family vacation in 8 YEARS, come home refreshed and ready to hit the ground running, with events lined up to make some bill money for the next month…

And BAM 💥 — the truck decides it has other plans.

Being a small business is definitely not for the weak. When you’re a two-person team, there isn’t another truck sitting around or another crew to send out. If the truck is down, Southern Nibble is down.

It’s frustrating. It hurts financially. And trust us… we’d MUCH rather be out there cooking for you guys than sitting around waiting on another part. 😂

But we’ll get through it like we always do. 💪❤️

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, checks in on us, shares our posts, and comes looking for us week after week. You guys truly keep this little business going.

Hopefully the next update we post is:

🚨 SOUTHERN NIBBLE UPDATE 🚨

Well… the food truck had one more surprise for us. 😩🔧

We got news yesterday that the truck needs yet another part, and unfortunately it won’t even be here until Thursday. With that news, it’s looking like we most likely won’t be back up and running until sometime next week.

Definitely not how we wanted to come back from vacation. We were ready to get back out there and see everybody, but apparently the truck had other plans. 😂

We’re a two person team, and when the truck is down, Southern Nibble is down. We’d rather get everything fixed correctly now than rush it back out and end up right back in the shop.

So unfortunately, we will NOT be at Mighty Pine Thursday, The Lot Friday, or The Hub Saturday.

We know y’all have been waiting for your Southern Nibble fix, and trust us… we’re ready to get back too! 🍗🔥

As soon as we get the green light, we’ll post our return schedule. Thank you guys for continuing to support us through all the craziness. ❤️

🐷🔥 WE’RE HOME… AND HOPEFULLY SOUTHERN NIBBLE IS BACK THIS WEEK! 🔥🐷

Sorry for the late update, y’all! We just got home from our family road trip, I jumped straight into two a days for football, and while we were gone we left the food truck in the shop to get some major repair work done.

The original plan was to get all the mechanical stuff handled AND finally get Southern Nibble a brand new wrap… well, turns out the old girl needed a little more mechanical love than we expected. 😂💸

So unfortunately, y’all are gonna have to look at our ugly wrap a little while longer! 🤣 We figured making sure the truck actually runs was probably more important than making her pretty. 😂

The last of the parts didn’t arrive until Friday, so we unfortunately WILL NOT be at Music in the Park tomorrow or Mighty Pine on Wednesday.

BUT… 🤞 if everything goes according to plan, we’re hoping to be BACK Thursday!
