Much like our pasta, our House Bakes Bread is made fresh, by hand, every single day. Served warm with salted butter and a dash of olive oil, because simple, considered ingredients are one of life’s finest pleasures ❤️

Our seasonal Pollo has received a summertime refresh! It starts with the same free-range, organic chicken legs from Pitman Family Farms, now paired with escarole, charred salad onions, and a savory Gnocchi alla Romana. Made from semolina, this Roman-style gnocchi is creamy within and crisped on the outside, making it a particularly satisfying counterpart to the fresh, slightly bitter greens.

A menu staple since 1990, our Fettucine con Polpette is living proof that some of the best Italian recipes are also the simplest. House made pasta, tomato sauce, and meatballs are plated with just a sprinkle of parsley and Parmigiano Reggiano. Just like nonna used to make ❤️

Our Zuppa Inglese, as prepared (and enjoyed) by Chef Lauren. Layers of sponge cake and lemon curd mascarpone meet rosemary syrup and seasonally changing fruit. A little sweet, a little tart, and well worth saving room for 🍬

On our menu since 1990, our Piatto di Antipasti offers a little bit of everything. Antipasti favorites like melanzane, pomodori al forno, and giardiniera are paired with bruschetta, olives, and a medley of rotating seasonal cheeses. It’s grandiose yet immediately lovable, just like any Italian first impression should be 😉

No matter the season, what’s on the menu, or what’s arriving from our farmers and purveyors, one thing remains constant at Lago: fresh pasta, made by hand every single day.

Justin and Jose, our two dedicated pastaioli, spend hours in the prep kitchen crafting our gnocchi, pappardelle, linguine, ravioli, fettuccine, and lasagne from scratch. It’s a patient, methodical process that has remained at the heart of our kitchen for decades.

Here’s to Justin and Jose for carrying on that tradition, one batch of pasta at a time ❤️🍝
