From Mondello Trattoria, our hearts are with France, Milano, and all of Europe.
We stand in solidarity with everyone affected by violence, destruction, and the loss of respect for one another.
As Italians, as Europeans, and above all as human beings, it breaks our hearts to see our history, art, and cultural heritage treated without the respect they deserve.
We believe everyone has the right to be heard, to express their frustrations, and to fight for a better future. But freedom of expression should never come at the cost of another person’s safety or the destruction of what belongs to generations past, present, and future.
To the younger generation, we extend our arms, not our judgment. We hear you. We believe in your future. And we hope you will protect the beauty of the world you will inherit.
Our hearts are heavy, but our hope remains.
At Mondello, we believe that sharing a table can bring people together, even when their opinions differ.
