If my dreams come true, Billy’s Gardens will bring us the most beautiful fresh picked heirloom tomatoes tomorrow at o-dark thirty, while most of you are still sleeping. I will slice big fat slabs and gently lay them on a pillow of fresh ricotta which is nestled atop buttery and flakey puff pastry. Whence they have puffed and browned and perfected I will drizzle basil oil on them and add just a pinch of flakey salt. These are the things that bring me happiness. I hope they make you happy too!

Back by popular demand…Maritozzi!! Tender olive oil buns with orange zest, honey and vanilla bean stuffed full with velvety vanilla bean mascarpone cream. They are best when eaten immediately! We will have these available both Saturday and Sunday! I love them, and I love zinnias! They are so colorful, bright and juicy! I want to eat them with my maritozzi…but I won’t…

Happy Solstice! Happy graduation! Happy endless World Cup matches! And Happy Father’s Day! There is so much to celebrate and we will be stuffing our shelves full of special delights such as this Pistachio cream tart with mascarpone mousse and fresh raspberries! These are available today and tomorrow. You can expect an abundance of banana cake with penuche icing, coconut cream buns and those perfect little carrot baby cakes! For those savory pastry lovers, we will have a special puff pastry topped with roasted sweet onion, red bell pepper and Cascioppo’s spicy Italian sausage!We love celebrating with you!

We have a lot of beautiful things happening in the bakery this weekend! Maritozzi will be available Saturday and Sunday! Oranais aux abricots (apricot puff pastry) will be available Friday through Sunday! Asparagus with goat cheese and lemon zest puff pastry will be available Saturday and Sunday! We are so loving the return of color in our seasonal fruits and vegetables!! Spring hath sprung❤️. You know that means eventually we get to have the heirloom tomato tart again….
