A little French fact for you. 🥂

The word "restaurant" comes from the French verb restaurer, meaning "to restore." It first described the rich, restorative broths sold by street vendors in 18th century Paris, long before it became the word for the places we now gather to eat, drink, and connect.

France didn't just give the world incredible food. It gave the world the very idea of the restaurant itself.
