Maine is a special place, which holds so many memories for so many people.

We love hearing your stories of how you ended up in our little slice of heaven here in Round Pond!

Wether your a local, vacationing here for the first time, you spend your summers in Maine, or you have a family camp here that you visit every year, we appreciate every single person who takes the time to visit us here at Muscungus Bay Lobster.

Sometimes the world can feel huge, and sometimes you’re chit chatting with a customer when you realize you both came from the same town, states away!

Chowders are quintessential to New England, so of course we keep ours in stock all season!

While it is great for cold days to warm you up, its irresistible enough to have on a nice warm day too!

Served with our house made cornbread, you can choose from our:

Lobster Chowder: Fresh picked MBL lobster & house made chower base. (Gluten free!)

Our lobster meat is hand picked daily by our team, with fresh lobsters delivered daily from the lobstermen right to the dock!

Haddock Chowder: Fresh Haddock & house made chowder base. (Gluten free!)

If you are a fan of cornbread, you may want to get an extra piece with your bowl! Its that good!😇

Yellowfin Tuna, mixed with avocado and house saki soy sauce, finished with house made Wonton Chips!

Perfect for sharing with your table or all for yourself, we won't judge you!

The weights were :
Small 1.03 and Large 3.56

The closest guess was 1.22 and 3.40

The weather has not quite been cooperating with us this Season 😅
We have our traditional picnic benches, but we do also have plenty of covered seating on our screened in porch and under our tent! No matter where you do sit, the views of Muscungus Bay will surround you.

While MBL is celebrating 25 years, our sister restaurant, the Anchor is celebrating 10 seasons this year!

They open in less than a week, on June 18th! Going forward they will be open Tuesday - Saturday 4-9pm.

Located at 34 R-33, Round Pond, ME 04564
On the hill above Muscungus Bay Lobster, also overlooking the water with beautiful views of the harbor!

While we keep it pretty casual at MBL, The Anchor keeps it classy, with their sit down dining experience.

They are a fully from scratch kitchen, handmade with love! Like us, they use local produce, dairy, meat & seafood whenever possible. Utilizing as many local & fresh ingredients as possible, keeps the Anchor community and sustainability oriented. You can trust that when you dine at The Anchor, you're not only supporting our restaurant family and our dreams, but the community members and environment around us as well.

The Anchor welcomes all kinds, and we do our best to cater to individual needs and desires, all while still keeping dining tradition alive. It is truly the perfect place to slow down, smell the sauces, and bask in gratitude for life's simple pleasures. Can't wait to see you there.

Maine is probably best known for its Lobsters, and our come right from the end of our dock!

Here at MBL you can get single lobsters, dinners that come with corn, butter and a choice of local Clams or mussels, or you can add our fresh picked in house lobster to your salad or pasta!

Currently we only have Hard Shell available, when the lobstermen start to bring in Soft Shell, we will let you know!

Him and Andrea really do work tirelessly both front of house, running the restaurant day to day AND all the behind the scenes work that get overlooked 😅
