🔔 If you had grounds in your drip coffee today, PLEASE come back anytime this week for a free drink on us ☕️
Y’all are honestly too kind because no one complained, but we spotted grounds in two mugs while washing dishes, and that is never okay with us.
We had a couple of our newer baristas on drip today (who we love dearly 🫶🏼), and it looks like a filter wasn’t sitting quite right when the coffee was brewed. That allowed some grounds to sneak around the filter and make their way straight into the carafe.
It’s a very real barista mistake - one that almost all of us have made, and usually one you only make *once* 😂 So absolutely no shade to our newbies!

But what we want to take responsibility for is that it made it past our team and into your cups without us catching it first. That’s on us, and we’re genuinely SO sorry.
So if you got a little extra ✨texture✨ in your coffee today, just let us know when you come in this week. Your next drink is on us. 🤎

So while booths are being pulled, couches are being swapped, and built-in bookcases are being built in the evenings… 🤭 Everything else is staying exactly where it belongs during the day 🤣 Your regular spots won’t be disturbed and you can carry on!

A little local history, a little honey, and a whole lot of cozy 🐝🤎
Meet The Matt Smith - a honey brown sugar latte made with honey from the natural hive discovered INSIDE Matt Smith Real Estate Group’s historic building just down the block!
The hive was safely rehomed, and they shared some of its honey with us. So naturally, we made a latte ☕️ And can we say? This is genuinely the best honey any of our baristas have ever had, hands down. Its dark rich color matches the rich and deep flavor of the honey - even if you’re not usually a honey person, this would be well worth the try!
Available Thursday–Saturday only, while supplies last!
