This is a traditional macchiato. ☕️ A lot of coffee shops have adopted the term ‘macchiato’ as a latte with a shot of espresso on top. This “upside down latte” was popularized by Starbucks and other big chains.

When ordering a macchiato at Avola, we will try to make sure we’re making the right drink for you! Whether that be a traditional Italian macchiato or a “macchiato” latte!
