We extend our sincere gratitude for the prayers on behalf of my mother, who remains hospitalized following another stroke. Unfortunately, she has experienced significant loss of peripheral vision in her right eye and persistent paralysis on the right side of her face, extending from the right side of her lip downwards all the way to the foot . We kindly request that you continue to pray for her and remember Adan and his family, who will manage as best they can in our absence. As many of you know, my mom has had three strokes in the last four months and now has had a fourth at the beginning of the week. We appreciate all of your business and ask you to be patient with Adan and his family as they work through this busy weekend without us if you have any issues at all, please give us a chance to make it right. We strive for customer service and satisfaction. We asked that you continue to pray for her as she’s been in the hospital since Monday. She is now losing her sight and all the progress we have made but she is a fighter and we don’t use the word can’t because it makes you stop thinking about how you can.

We will be closed this weekend for crabs and donuts. Some of you know that our matriarch and one of the owners, Ginny Johnson, has had three strokes since January that has left her paralyzed from her right lip down her whole right side and requiring 24-hour-a-day care. In the last four months, she's been in the hospital all six days and was released on Friday. We want to spend this time making her as comfortable as possible and not feeling like she's a burden. Adan and his family had been running the store, but Adan's sister is getting married this weekend, so he flew back to Mexico. We had to make the very hard decision; of not opening. We ask that you continue to pray for Ginny. Also, if there are any caregivers out there is a major need for you, please reach out to us with contact info we are going to build a data base and you have a special place in our hearts.
