This is what makes the world go round
People often ask me what makes Bluetick Coffee different.
The answer starts with my love for Bluetick dogs, coffee, and the communities we serve—but it’s really about the people.
When I look through these photos, I don’t just see coffee stands. I see young women who have grown in confidence, learned customer service, taken on responsibility, and discovered what they’re capable of accomplishing. I get to watch them earn enough to buy a car, afford rent, enjoy hobbies, and build a future they can be proud of.
Everything we sell comes from our community. From the baked goods, Denise VanDyk to the breakfast sandwiches and burritos from our local grocers, to the meat sticks from Cross O Meats, and the organic coffee we roast ourselves, Bluetick is truly homegrown.
One of the greatest rewards of owning Bluetick Coffee is helping young women chase their dreams. Whether it’s learning new skills, gaining confidence, or helping them start a coffee stand of their own, I love watching people grow.
These photos represent years of hard work, friendships, opportunities, and success stories. They represent a community supporting one another and people becoming proud of who they are and what they do.
At the end of the day, Bluetick Coffee is about much more than coffee.
It’s about community.
It’s about opportunity.
It’s about hard work.
And it’s about watching people grow into beautiful, successful human beings.
