The restaurant industry has lost an amazing example of what true leadership, ownership, compassion and philanthropy should look like with the passing of Frank Ballard.

Frank, alongside his wonderful wife Marget, set an example for all of us in this industry—not simply through the way they ran their restaurant, but through the way they cared for their people and gave back to their community.

Frank’s passing is a reminder of just how precious life is, and of the difference one person can make when they choose to use their life and their success to lift up others.

His impact will be felt for many years to come, and his example is one we should all strive to carry forward.
