Weekend brunch at Il Falò in Brier Creek, Raleigh-Durham. Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Purgatorio pizza comes with spicy tomato sauce, Parmigiano, and a sunny egg in the center. Break the yolk before the first slice. Add the honey goat cheese ravioli with blood orange for the table.

The fall dinner menu at Il Falò in Brier Creek from Executive Chef Jouvens Jean and our kitchen team:

Start with the Wood-Fired Shrimp Scampi. The shrimp come off the oak grill and into confit garlic, white w**e, and lemon, with toasted breadcrumbs on top. Use the grilled focaccia for the sauce.

Elsewhere on the fall menu, roasted parsnip velouté arrives with sage brown butter. Barolo-braised short rib is folded into pappardelle with butternut squash and porcini. The rack of lamb is rubbed with juniper and finished with a fig-mint glaze.

Dinner is served nightly from 5 pm. Come in this week and let us cook for you.

Jerk chicken. Curried oxtail. Wood-grilled snapper. Mofongo. Rum cake, banana bread, flan, and pastelito to close. Live steel drum plays throughout, and tropical cocktails come from partners 712 Vodka.
