Sunday morning at 10 am I got the phone call to feed 200 fire fighters. The Bench Fire had no kitchen to feed the men and women working so hard to take care of our community.
I rallied the troops. The number quickly rose to 350.
We then went from one meal to 3 meals. My team and I, with the help of Fisher’s Red Rock Meats put together 1050 hot meals for those on the front lines.
Sunday night: chicken enchiladas, rice, beans, salad and home made cookies!
Monday morning: breakfast burritos and watermelon.
Monday night: tri tip , chicken, baked potatoes, salad and rolls.
It was a marathon, but as a team we made it happen. And that was with a team of 4-7 depending on the time of day. 42 hours of straight work with no sleep.
Huge THANK YOU to those working endlessly to protect our Central Oregon Community.

A gorgeous day for Mother’s Day brunch.
FHC Vineyards is such a beautiful venue.
Not to mention having Kurt Silva to serenade us all day.

Another Tumalo Community School Fundraiser in the books!!! The people that organize this event are truly amazing. The community support is record setting.
A huge thank you to Mark and Mariah for always trusting my crew and I to feed you and make your event a success. And, of course, thanks to my crew for all the help and time we put in. PS…I made and donated the cake to help with the fundraising. Chocolate stout cake with a chocolate bourbon ganache.
