Meet Heaven 🌈✨ And yes, she really is as colorful as she looks.

Heaven is one of those people who seems to have creativity running through her veins. She paints, draws, sews, plays guitar, sings, thrifts, and even makes her own clothes. Basically, if it involves creating something, Heaven’s probably into it.

Recently, a sound I hadn’t heard in years stopped me in my tracks — the unmistakable clacking of an old typewriter. A guest sat across the shop typing, and suddenly I was back at my grandmother’s house, listening as she wrote articles, poems, and stories she’d proudly share with us.

That contrast in time struck a chord for me. I’ve always wanted Rose City Coffee to feel timeless — a place to stay awhile. To talk, read, write, create, and simply connect with one another. A place that feels warm, welcoming, and where you feel genuinely cared for.

We recently got to stop by and visit her, and it was SO good to see her. We’ve always missed the bright, positive energy she brought into the shop every day.

Since her Rose City days, Sierra has been busy building her own business right here in Portland Sierra Taylor | PDX Waxing & Esthetician—helping people look good, feel good, and bringing that same Sierra energy wherever she goes. ✨

We’ll always be grateful for the joy, energy, and heart she brought to RCC🫶🏼
