Today is Jack’s last day with us, and we’re really not ready to say goodbye 😭

Jack joined our team nearly a year ago and was one of the first people to help us make the transition to 24-hour service possible.

He brought such a positive, upbeat energy to every shift. He was always eager to jump in, problem-solve, and give his best wherever he was needed.

His time with us was far too short, and we’re going to miss him so much as he heads back to Austin. But we did get him to agree that if Portland ever calls him back, Rose City Coffee gets him back too🤞🏼🧡

We will miss you, Jack!

Meet Naomi — another fierce person of Rose City Coffee 🩷

Naomi joined us just a few short months ago, but quickly became a steady force on our team. From overnight shifts to daytime hours, she works incredibly hard, keeps things flowing, and brings so much kindness and care to the shop.

And Rose City is only part of what she’s juggling. Naomi recently graduated from Portland State University and is now taking on the full-time job of applying to medical school!

We’re rooting especially hard she is accepted to OHSU — because we’d really like her to stay in Portland! In that case, those late nights at Rose City will be spent studying instead of working 🩺🥼

We know Naomi is headed toward some pretty incredible things, and we’re so grateful to be a small part of her story along the way. Next time you see her on bar, congratulate her on chasing some very big dreams ✨
