I want to take a moment to thank everyone for an amazing 5 years ❤️
I appreciate every single person who has chosen to eat something from our little truck. 5 years has gone by incredibly fast, and it has come with some really big ups, as well as some downs. Through it all, I’m incredibly proud of what we have accomplished.
From day 1, we have stayed true to our main mission: saving as many animals as possible. We’ve made it a priority to donate to and support vegan causes because we understand how difficult it can be to survive and make a difference in this world.
We’ve also had the opportunity to serve countless non-vegan people, and honestly, that is a win every single time. Getting to show people that vegan food can be delicious, fun, and completely satisfying has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
Looking back, I wouldn’t change anything. There has been so much learning, growing, and figuring things out along the way. And perhaps one of the greatest gifts of all has been the lifelong friendships I’ve made through this little truck. I am beyond grateful for every friendship, connection, and person who has been part of this journey.
And now, for the BIG announcement 🎉
Alex, who has been working at the truck for the past 3 years, will be taking over the truck with her husband, Destin! ❤️
I am so incredibly grateful for both of them & everything they have brought to this business. I’m excited to see where they take it & all the amazing things they plan to do. Most importantly, I’m so happy that the truck will continue serving up delicious, secretly vegan food 🌱 And don’t worry, your favorite sandos won’t be going anywhere.
Alex and Destin take over the truck & business on 10/10/26, so please do continue to support them so that Chubby Bunny can remain an important staple in the vegan community of Portland 🎉
Thank you to everyone who has supported us, eaten with us, shared our food, told a friend, followed along, or simply cheered us on over these past 5 years.
