Draggin' Main is back again! Yes, from June 14-20, there will be Draggin' Main activities. And, on Tuesday, June 16, the gathering will be at Taco Box in Clovis. Come join us for a great time AND a great deal on our Green Chile Brisket Burrito Meal. Green Chile Brisket burrito, Spanish Fries and a 20 oz soft drink for only $10 and only available from 5 PM to 9 PM on one day, June 16.

It's a sad day at the Clovis Zoo. Read in the ENMNews that Sooner, the tiger was euthanized. Sooner had medical issues and he was put to rest to keep him from suffering.
Here is a picture of Thomas and Tom petting Sooner as a kitten. And he was as playful as a kitten, rolling around and wanting to be petted. OK, so he had longer claws and it hurt a little when he stuck us, but he was cute kitten nonetheless, and like any kitten, just as happy as could be. RIP, Sooner.

For those of you who are into Personalized License Plates (and Taco Box is) we found this pretty cool. On the mvd.newmexico.gov site, one of our old license plates is featured. We had BOX CAR for several years. Here is a picture from the site and two of our old plates that we have in our trophy case at the Clovis Taco Box. (current plate on our catering van is BOX ROX because we are the Box that Rox!)

THANK YOU PORTALES & CLOVIS! $2,011.17 was raised for the Food Bank of Eastern NM! Yes, between rounding up your purchases in November, extra donations and the Taco Box match, this was amazing! And a BIG THANK YOU to our major food supplier, Labatt Foodservice in Lubbock. Instead of donating the money to the Food Bank, we coordinated with them to purchase food they specified from Labatt and Labatt kicked in some extra food! What a great group effort! BE PROUD and give yourselves a pat on the back.
