Camara De Comercio Para La Comunidad Hispana will be hosting their annual back to school donation drive in the coming months, SO Rural Resistance and Do Drop In are partnering up to allow donations of school supplies to be dropped off at any of the rallies OR at the shop.
Donations include, but are not limited to:
#2 pencils
Lined paper packs
Colored pencils
Crayons
Washable markers
Expo markers
Sharpies
Folders
Spiral notebooks
Hand sanitizer
Glue sticks
Disinfectant wipes
Note cards
Anything that can be used to set our future generations up for success.

At the meeting in June 4th, volunteer opportunities will be discussed.

New Mexico - we are just ONE WEEK away from the first day of voting in the primary election!🗳️ Make sure you have a plan to vote.

Here are some of the important dates to know for this primary:
✅May 5th: First day of early voting at county clerks' offices. This is also the last day to register to vote online or by mail. Same-day registration will be available in person at voting locations.
✅May 16th: More early voting locations open across the state.
✅May 19th: Last day to request an absentee ballot.
✅May 30th: Last day to early vote!
✅June 2nd: Election Day! Same day registration is still available at polling locations.

The coffee bar (lattes, matcha, americanos, cappuccinos, milkshakes, etc) ((coldbrew is VERY LIMITED)) is not available until I am able to get my repair guy here from Lubbock to figure out what is going on with my water line and why my machine is flooding the front of house. Thanks for understanding.

Fifteen years.

It’s hard to put into words what that really means, because it’s never just been about coffee or sandwiches. Since opening our doors in 2011, this space has been built on people - on early mornings, late afternoons, laughter, hard conversations, and the kind of connections that don’t fade when the doors close at night.

We’ve had the honor of working alongside some of the most incredible humans - employees who became family, who poured their hearts into this place just as much as we have. We’ve been held up by a community that shows up, not just in the easy moments, but in the hard ones too - through health scares, through celebrations of love and Pride, through every high and low in between.

To be here, fifteen years later, right in the heart of Portales, in the high plains of Eastern New Mexico, is something we don’t take lightly. It’s something we’re deeply, genuinely grateful for.

Thank you for making this little café what it is. Thank you for growing with us, standing by us, and continuing to walk through our doors.
