This is what pure joy looks like. 😂🐾

Mango the American Bulldog has absolutely no concern whatsoever that his best buddy Rosco Pico is a Giant Doodle approximately the size of a small horse.

And honestly, this is one of our favorite things about daycare.

Dogs get to play. Make friends. Be ridiculous. Learn how to communicate with each other. Burn off some energy. Take a nap. Get back up and do it all over again.

Because dogs need more than somewhere to wait for us while we’re busy.

They need a life, too. ❤️

And apparently Mango’s best life involves being completely flattened by Rosco Pico on the couch. 😂

💙 STRONGER TOGETHER 💙

Today, Da Vinci Recovery and Da Vinci Unleashed were proud to be part of the Stronger Together Walk-a-Thon at Sims Park!

What we loved most about this event was that it didn’t just showcase the incredible resources available to people seeking recovery—it showcased what people in recovery go on to do with their lives.

Recovery is so much more than stopping the use of drugs or alcohol. It’s rebuilding. Learning new skills. Finding purpose. Going back to work. Starting businesses. Helping someone else. Becoming part of a community again.

At Da Vinci, we get to watch those transformations every day. And through Da Vinci Unleashed, our women have opportunities to work with animals, learn grooming and dog handling, build confidence, practice responsibility, and discover abilities they may never have known they had.

Today we saw old friends, met new ones, connected with case managers and community resources, talked to a LOT of people about dogs 😂🐾, and handed out nearly every piece of Da Vinci material we brought!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our colorful little corner of Sims Park and to every organization that showed up today.

People need somewhere safe to land, something meaningful to do, and people who believe their story isn’t finished yet.

That’s community.
That’s recovery.
And we truly are Stronger Together. 💙🐾

Nobody invited them. Nobody said “wanna go for a ride?” We simply made the rookie mistake of leaving a car door open. 🚗🐾

Tinkerbell: I’m in.
Betty Boop: MOVE, WE’RE GOING.
Juju: I have made a terrible mistake. 😂

Apparently an open car door is legally binding in dog law.

Where are we going? Nobody knows.
Were they invited? Absolutely not.
Are we leaving without them now? Also absolutely not. 😂

We don’t just groom dogs. We get to know them. 🐾🫧

Every dog who comes through Da Vinci Unleashed has their own personality, their own quirks, and their own story.

Some love grooming. Some would rather negotiate the entire process. 😂
Some want kisses. Some want snacks. Some just want us to hurry up so they can get back to their friends.

These are just some of the dogs who have trusted us with their Full Island Makeovers and maintenance grooms — and we love sending their families a report about their day.

Great grooming matters.
But so does how your dog feels while they’re here.

Did you know there’s a dog destination like this right here in Port Richey? 🐾🌴

Da Vinci Unleashed is more than grooming, daycare, boarding, and training.

It’s a tropical, farm-like experience built for dogs to explore, sniff, relax, socialize, and just be dogs.

We have five distinct sniff zones, gardens, fish, chickens, a turkey, goats, a horse, shaded places to sit, and a calm environment that feels completely different from a traditional kennel.

And there’s something even bigger behind it.

Da Vinci Unleashed is connected to Da Vinci Recovery, where women rebuilding their lives help wash, walk, handle, and care for the dogs while learning real-world skills, confidence, and responsibility.

So when your dog spends time with us, they’re not just getting a service.

They’re becoming part of a bigger mission.
