Busy times!
We are just about out of Colombia… and by popular request we’ve brought back the Papua New Guinea Kinmuga Peaberry. Same profile as last time. Look for the black, red, and yellow bags.
We have a week left of this stellar Costa Rica Black Honey. When it goes we are on to Honduras (either a natural or a washed first—we haven’t decided.)
The current Kenya will PROBABLY get a little lighter, as the PNG Peaberry is going to pull all of the attention for “coffee flavored coffee” drinkers. This Kenya (Rianjagi) is my favorite coffee dry aroma in years. It smells like I imagine heaven must smell. We have played with it at a medium, a light medium, and a light roast… I think I want it even lighter, just for my own preferences.
There’s a ton going on these next couple of weekends. Homecoming parade rolled right past my house… 5k tomorrow… next weekend is HUGE. The Great Get Together at Settlers Park, a giant music and arts festival started by so many local friends, Saturday 10/3. The Pride Ride (bicycle ride) on 10/4 beginning at the Village Green. Say hey at either of those!
Coffee is amazing this time of year. We have at least 2 more monster coffees inbound on their way to us, and we have a bunch that we’ve yet to crack open, sitting at the shop. Come join us 7 days a week. Coffee that shines a light on origin—taste the difference between different origins, varieties, and processes. We have something for every human. 🙂
Go Bears!
