I was given the amazing opportunity to do these cakes for a wedding, 40 year anniversary vowel renewal to be exact.
The first was a 3 Tier “naked” cake, double filled each layer, covered in white chocolate ganache.
1st tier was sweet cream cake with layers of strawberry cheesecake and alternating layers of fresh strawberry rum compote.
2nd tier was white chocolate cake, lemon cream filling with alternating lemon curd filling!
3rd tier was white chocolate cake with white chocolate/ fresh raspberry compote filling (swirls) each layer has both fillings layered.
The Grooms cake was a Black Forrest cake was 7 layers of double chocolate fudge cake, each layer had chocolate ganache (thin layer) then a layer of fresh cherry compote and a stabilized whip cream, (6 layers all together) then covered in a dark chocolate ganache, the decor was handmade out of modeling chocolate and painted to give it the realistic look. ❤️
