Our first week of selling Big Dipper Homemade Ice Cream is officially in the books, and we are thrilled with the response and support we’ve received! 🍕🍦

I read a report last year from Alaska Public Media that said Alaskans consume more ice cream per capita than any other state — about 3 gallons per person, per year.

I’d say that sounds pretty accurate for my house. 😂

We wanted to do our part to help get those numbers up, so we partnered with our friends at Big Dipper Homemade Ice Cream.

This is Ian.
On Saturday the 5th of September, he worked his last shift. (Don’t worry he’s not dead)

He decided to drive down to the lower 48 to go on an adventure to find himself. He’s planning to go live in the Nevada area but fate may change his mind. He’s not really sure.

Ian has worked at Pioneer Pizza since Chad and Christiana bought the place. (He’s Christiana’s cousin) You’ve probably seen him here before.

He has always been there when we need him; coming in on his days off, staying later than he’s scheduled and making the dough almost every morning. He really was “Pioneer Pizza’s best employee.” We always called him our Superhero.

We wish him well on his adventures and hopes that he changes his mind and comes back to Alaska. 👀
