If you name your endeavor “Under The Bodhi Tree” you should certainly have the awareness that everything has a beginning and everything has an end. Under The Bodhi Tree’s beginning was a little over 10yrs ago as an idea that turned into a plant based restaurant & so much more.
The end of this endeavor is today…. Today Thursday August 31st will be the last day of service at Under The Bodhi Tree and we’ll be closing our doors. It’s been our pleasure and source of great pride to serve so many people in two restaurants, farmers markets, festivals, community events, charity fund raisers, community meals, pot lucks and so many places on our wonderful Island.
We’ve made friends, literally run races at local 5k’s, 10k’s, triathlons & even made a run at the Honolulu Marathon, we served meals in community kitchens and food pantries including our own for a month during the beginning of Covid. We are proud of our time and hope everyone smiles and celebrates the past 10 years. We want to thank all our guests, friends, families, and supporters over these years. We also want to thank our various teammates and coworkers without who we couldn’t have done any of it.
