Reminder - Windy Hollow Restaurant!

As a reminder - Windy Hollow Restaurant and Museum will be closed October 4th and return October 11th.

Our amazing cook/manager, Tracey, along with Miki and other members of our dedicated crew, will be celebrating her daughter Meagan's wedding—where Meagan will be marrying Jama's father! Jama is our hostess!

Additionally, a couple of our team members have also requested vacation time for the same day. To ensure we continue to provide you with the exceptional service and delicious meal you've come to expect, we will be closed for just one day and will reopen on October 11th.

Thank you for your understanding, and we can't wait to welcome you back after this special occasion!

September 26, 1923- Pansy Miller gave birth to twins, Hal and Thomas Miller.

The twins ended up serving their country together during WWII and years later developed Windy Hollow.

The shenanigans and stories they had could entertain you for hours!!

Since 1963, Windy Hollow has been serving food to great folks like you!

Breakfast is available all day with LUNCH added at 11am!!!

It’s a bittersweet day as it is Xander’s last day with us! He’s off to Yale University soon! So proud of him!!!!

I was hanging out at the restaurant today when a couple pulls up asking for directions to Moseleyville!! Whatcha looking for? She was a Moseley so she just wanted a photo with the sign.

I told them where I thought the sign was- surprisingly, I was only a few yards off!! And I also sent them to the volunteer fire station where I was certain there was a sign. Then for more information, I called Chief Scott Smith to see if he knew of other places or signs!

Anyway, her 4th great grandfather was John Moseley…who helped start the post office here. I think that was his name- she tossed several!!

How cool is that!! A direct descendant visited Moseleyville today! Sadly I didn’t get their names, only that they were now living in Knoxville Tn.

So many fun things happen in the country!!!
