We are thrilled to announce Farm Bar’s special guest! Author, baking expert, and Kansas City’s very own Erin McDowell 💖 She will be at Saltwell Farm Kitchen signing copies of her fabulous new book “Bake Anything”, that is packed full of essential recipes made for you to mix and match to create the bakes of your dreams!

🚗Arrival: 5 PM
🍗🍷Grill master Dave will be grilling all the goodies starting at 5pm and of course the Saltwell bar will be open!
📚Book signing with Erin McDowell: 6 PM
🎶Live music by Candi Harvey: 7-9 PM

Are you ready to celebrate the last tendrils of summer with Saltwell? 🌿

Last week was our first taste of the September menu, and we are obsessed! This menu is jam-packed with garden-fresh ingredients, harvested each week just for you 🌱

To start: Blistered tomato johnny cake with Prairie-Boi candied jalapeño and house butter

Followed by: Chilled summer ratatouille with smoked farm vegetables, baby eggplant, and crisped caper blossoms

Then: Compressed watermelon salad with Hami confetti, margarita gel, and cracked black pepper

Next up, the crowd favorite: Herb goat cheese-stuffed pasta with savory squash mousseline and sage brown butter

For our main course: Charred pork tenderloin with our house glacé, local foraged mushrooms, and golden potato polenta

And finally, for dessert: Basil flower posset with lemon and Saltwell honey. 🍯🌸
