A quick note from the team at Rocky Knoll and Shorty’s Pub:
First and foremost, thank you. The support we’ve received from our community over the past several years has been incredible.
Five years ago, we didn’t even have a full-time cook, and most of our restaurant traffic came from golfers stopping in after their round. Today, thanks to all of you, Shorty’s Pub has grown into a destination of its own. We are grateful for every customer who chooses to spend their time with us, whether you’re here for a meal, a drink on the deck, or a round of golf.
With that growth, we’ve reached a point where we need to make a few adjustments to help us continue providing the level of service our guests deserve.
To help us best accommodate everyone, we are asking that all parties of 10 or more call ahead. While we’re always happy to welcome large groups, unexpected parties can quickly overwhelm our small one-man kitchen.
Unlike larger restaurants, we operate with a limited team and rely heavily on advance notice to properly prepare food, schedule staff, and ensure everyone receives timely service. Large groups that arrive without calling ahead may be asked to split into smaller tables, experience extended wait times, or, in the case of very large gatherings, be subject to event space fees.
We would also like to remind guests that children must be supervised at all times while on the property. We love seeing families enjoy Rocky Knoll, but for the safety of our guests, golfers, and staff, children should not be left unattended around the clubhouse or restaurant.
These changes are not meant to discourage anyone from visiting. In fact, they’re the result of something we’re incredibly thankful for; your continued support and the growth we’ve experienced together. A quick phone call ahead of your visit helps us prepare, serve you better, and create a better experience for everyone.
