A birthday cake. A new uniform. A book and a pencil. Small gifts that give children something to look forward to.

A teacher at Solai Nyakinyua Primary School recently shared what your support means. Children are eager to come to school because they don’t want to miss the birthday celebrations. Uniforms help them feel confident and participate in class. Books, pens, pencils, and socks give them essentials they need.

Teachers are feeling encouraged, too. And the teacher shared that these celebrations are helping attract new families and encouraging more parents to support their children’s attendance.

As we mark two years of working directly with the school, we’re raising funds for our next children’s birthday celebration and the closing day ceremony. We want to celebrate the children, their efforts, and another year of learning together.

Your gift can go twice as far. One of our team members has pledged to match contributions dollar for dollar over the coming month.

Give $10, and it becomes $20. Give $50, and it becomes $100.

The conversation continues. This time, through the eyes of a second-generation coffee farmer.
In part two, John shares what REPChain can mean for farming families. Building financial security. Supporting children’s education. Investing in better coffee. And making sure farmers have a voice in the decisions shaping their future.
Honoring the work of the generation before us while building stronger partnerships for the next. Celebrating coffee as art and valuing the people behind it.

"On the ground, coffee is a poor man's business. But on the other side of the supply chain, coffee is a rich man's business."
John said it standing in the family coffee field in Kenya's Rift Valley. A mango, you can just chew it. Coffee? Every process matters , the farm, the vehicle, the milling, the shipping, all the way to the cup in your hand.
Today we celebrate the people at the very start of that chain. 🌍
🎬 Watch Part 2 of The Road Home — life on the farm: https://youtu.be/dZeftRFErxc
📝 Context: "Rich man's business" is a symbolic Kenyan expression for the Western/export market, where coffee reaches its highest value. It is not a statement about any person or group — it's how farmers describe where the value of their crop ultimately lands.
