What’s our number one priority as a company? It’s simple … PEOPLE. No matter how much coffee we serve, pastries we make from scratch, nothing is more important that the connections we make with our beloved community. That’s why saying YES to this podcast with Jess was easy. He gets it. It’s about human connection. Listening. Asking questions. Digging deeper. Living in today’s world is harder than ever. Traci Dowd Page always says Karma Koffee is in the business of people, and just happens to serve coffee.

If you know Traci, you know she lives love out loud. She's been a partner in the shop since the beginning, in roles that have looked different over the years. She took over day-to-day operations in 2018, and last year the business officially became hers.

As you walk through the doors of Karma Koffee in Omaha, you’ll notice a few questions and quotes forever written on our walls:
“Come out of the circle of life and into the circle of love.”
“Who am I? What do I really want? What’s my purpose? What am I grateful for?”
In 2014, three years sober and searching for a place of healing, my friend and teacher Deepak Chopra gave me the spark I needed. While teaching mantras alongside him in California, I asked, “Why do people say karma is a bitch?”
He laughed and said, “Karma isn’t a bitch unless you are, Jeffry. Everything is karma. For example, when you have a cup of coffee... it’s karma.”
The name was born right there (the 'K' spelling was my own little twist).
Karma Koffee was created as an invitation to stop, breathe, and step into the present moment. Today, I’m deeply grateful to support the love and spirit that our partner Traci brings to this space—it is in spiritually sound hands.
Breathe into the present. It’s a gift.
