New Pastry this October! Head on over to A Cup of Literature | Lifestyle Cafe on Cookman Avenue in AP to try our Brown Butter Miso Roasted Pear Scone. Cozy, buttery and a little unexpected. Made with slow roasted Bosc pears, nutty brown butter and a touch of white miso for that perfect sweet-salt balance + toasted almonds and a sesame seed sprinkle. Rustic, tender and not too sweet. Everything we love about fall baking with a little twist.

We are truly blessed with wonderful fresh produce from Farmer John and our friends over at the Olin Street Co-op! Tuesday is our volunteer day with Chef Dino over at Market Street Mission in Asbury Park. We love our farm fresh chopped basket - turning this into Chicken with roasted a Poblano peppers, corn, fresh garlic sauce. Taking all the greens and sautéing with the fresh herbs & garlic. And roasted potatoes with butternut squash. A million hugs and thank you’s to Amy and her team and Cathy for dropping off each week❤️❤️

Deliveries done for the morning - picked up a few books for weekend reading and Julia A Cup of Literature | Lifestyle Cafe made me this delicious apple pie iced latte - thank you! Try it with our Apple Pie Caramel Coffeecake. If you’re into Fall flavors we’ve got you covered - today’s delivery also had DF Pumpkin Muffins / Ginger Pear Scones with a Ginger syrup glaze and our classic Blueberry Muffins. ❤️

BBQ DINNER CANCELED

Due to the rain and high winds forecast for this weekend, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our BBQ Dinner scheduled for Saturday, September 26. Enjoy delicious Chicken & Ribs, prepared by BBQ Pit Master Raydell Ellison, with seasonal side salads and dessert bar prepared by The Downstairs Kitchen.
