Pups and Pals,
For the last 2.5 years, we have been able to serve the community and create a space where people can come together. We were given the opportunity to pour our hearts into a business we loved for people and dogs we loved. We have met hundreds of new friends and given thousands back to deserving organizations in the community. Some of our closest friends started as park regulars.
Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the right time for Hops & Hounds. Being a small business is no easy feat and being one in Oak Ridge has its own set of challenges. Not to mention completely outdoor based. To be completely upfront, we are out of funds. We have given everything we have to this business because we absolutely believe in it, but logistically and financially, we are unable to continue. Our last day of operations will be Sunday, November 22nd.
I know there are a lot of questions about next steps, purchased memberships, etc, and I promise I will get you answers (in a later post), but for the next couple days, I will not be online. We are absolutely devastated and heartbroken to make this decision and I just need a couple days to sit with the loss before tackling the next part of this process. We will open as usual on Thursday and will continue with any events or plans already made.
I cannot give enough gratitude to our family, staff, and our regulars who have also given money, time, effort, and love to this space. Thank you for the honor of serving you for the last couple years and hope to see you soon. 🐾🍻❤️
