Just wanted to give a heads up on anyone wanting brisket tomorrow, it will most likely be off the smoker around 12 due to the forecasted weather and the size of the brisket. Hope to see everyone tomorrow!

We apologize for the short notice, but Off Road Diner & Dogs will be closed tomorrow (Saturday).

Over the past two weeks, David has been running himself ragged keeping things going at the diner. This evening he’s beyond exhausted and not feeling 100%. Out of an abundance of caution, we’ve decided to close tomorrow just in case he’s coming down with something and it’s not just exhaustion catching up with him.

We really appreciate everyone’s understanding. The support, kindness, and patience this community has shown us during this challenging time means more than we can put into words.

We’re looking forward to getting through these next few weeks and having everything back to normal when Lucy is cleared by the Dr. to return to work. She’s been spending some of her recovery looking for exciting new specials to try when she’s back 😁

When we made our post about the brisket being stolen and the smoker being lit on fire, we never expected the response we received. We simply wanted to let everyone know why we had no smoked meats that week.

What happened next absolutely blew us away.

This community showed up for us in a HUGE way. People shared our post all over the place. We had folks drive over an hour just to come grab lunch and support a local business going through a rough patch. We had customers come in — some we had never even met before — offering support, encouragement, and kindness. We had other local businesses reach out, share our post, and help us recover some of the loss.

We apologize in advance if we forget to mention anyone individually, but please know how incredibly grateful we are for every single share, comment, visit, and kind word.

We may be a small town, but the love and support between locally owned businesses and the people in this community is truly something special. When one of us is hurting, everyone rallies together — and that means more to us than we could ever put into words.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all so much for supporting us, supporting local, and reminding us why we love this community so much. ❤️

Hey everyone late post due to my brain being in a somewhat spiral today.
But tomorrow/ Wednesday we will be bringing our delicious smash burgers and an even longer lost goodie is fresh fried nachos, and funnel cake fries!!

During the week we will be offering them as traditional loaded with chili,cheese,sour cream,onion,tomatoes and then starting Saturday the pork and brisket nachos will be back in action!

We hate having to make this post, but unfortunately we will not have any smoked meats available today.

Last night someone came and stole one of the briskets directly off the smoker. As if that wasn’t bad enough, they then poured lighter fluid into the smoker and lit it on fire, which means every piece of meat that was on there had to be thrown away.

We don’t usually publicize this kind of thing, but every single week we feed a family that cannot afford food because we believe in giving back to our community however we can. If you are hungry, we will feed you. Please do not steal from small businesses that are already doing everything they can to stay afloat and also try and help the community.

We lost over $500 worth of meat last night. After the past couple slow weeks, that’s a very hard hit for us to take, especially with my surgery coming up next week and everything already being stretched thin.

The ORPD did come out, a report has been filed, and they are currently looking into it. If anyone has any information about who did this, please reach out to us or contact ORPD.
