A Newberry native with deep roots in the heart of the city, the owner of Capricious Local Eatery has called downtown home since childhood. Growing up just steps from where her restaurant now stands, she was an active member of the Newberry High School community, involved in sports, clubs, and volunteering. Today, amidst the demands of running a successful business, she remains dedicated to the community, even coaching local youth soccer. Hello everyone, unfortunately we were just notified of a pipe burst within our block. With the city working on fixing the issue it will cause a 24 hour boil water notice. We can not operate safely under a boil water notice so we will be closed for Saturday (10/10) to make sure we only operate under the safest conditions. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we will be opening Tuesday as long as all water test come back safe and sufficient to operate. I appreciate your loyalty and understanding.
