Never heard of Scalibut? We’re not surprised 🙂. It’s a GW Fins original created by Executive Chef Mike Nelson. He takes a filet of dense, meaty halibut and sears thin slices of buttery scallops on top.

Don’t think you see the scallops? Look again! They’re the beautifully golden brown pieces.

Starting Monday, enjoy three courses for only $56.00, plus sales tax and gratuity. Each course will offer three choices, which highlight the freshest seasonal ingredients.

Learn more about what you eat with Fins' Fun Fish Facts! First up is a fish that's frequently on our menu, has a name that raises eyebrows, and often leaves guests saying, "What's that?"

It's Sheepshead...and here are some fun facts about this smiley fish 😁

~ Most famous for their human-like teeth used to crush hard-shelled prey
~ Nicknamed "Convict Fish" from the five or six dark vertical stripes running down their light gray or greenish-silver bodies, which resemble old-school prison jumpsuits
~ Master bait steelers, making them a fun catch for anglers
~ Have a relatively slow growth rate and can live for up to 20 years

At Fins, we often pan fry Sheepshead with a Parmesan crust and serve it with jumbo lump crab, asparagus, truffled potatoes, crispy capers, and Meyer lemon beurre blanc.

Make it a dinner and show night at GW Fins! Located only 4 blocks from the Saenger Theatre, it's the perfect spot for a delicious meal before the curtain goes up.

We open at 5PM nightly and offer our full menu and full service in the dining room and bar.
