We are ecstatic to be listed among Joshua David Stein’s TOP 5(!) favorite dining destinations in Town & Country Magazine! As we roll into the busy season in New Glarus, we can't wait to welcome folks into our home for the first, fifth, or fifteenth (🙌 to you out there!) time. Our dream has always been for Canter Inn to feel knitted into this community while simultaneously offering an experience worthy of the destination. Thanks to those out there who are helping us prove that it's possible!

Don’t forget: we serve the same menu Tuesday-Thursday from 5-8:30pm, and generally have wider availability those evenings. Keep in mind especially if you are looking for a quieter evening out.

We are thrilled to open our patio for the first time on Thursday, June 4! In celebration, we are offering a limited number of tickets to join us for a picnic. For $55 (plus tax & gratuity) per person you get:

*This is a family friendly space! We will have a full kids' menu available. If you would like to attend with kids, please order the correct amount of tickets per adult in your party, and you can order from the kids' menu on top of that when you arrive. Just be sure to make a note in your reservation that kids will be joining.

We are pumped to bring you a few new domestic wine selections (and an absolute gem from a woman winemaker in South Africa) for this lovely Wine Wednesday! Book now for tonight, 5/27, to get 1/2 off all wine bottles, and may we recommend savoring alongside raw oysters 🦪 on our patio?

WINE DINNER ALERT!
This Saturday, May 23 | 5:15pm | $95 per person
Join us to taste through the wines of pioneer Italian winemaker Maculan alongside a four-course dinner by Canter Inn!

Angela Maculan, a fourth-generation member of the historic Maculan winery family in Breganze, Veneto, Italy, will be at the dinner to share information about the wines. As Sales Director and Export Manager, she works alongside her father, Fausto, and sister, Maria Vittoria, to manage the estate, promoting their renowned dessert wines and high-quality reds worldwide.

Fausto Maculan’s style is minimalist and Bordeaux-inspired, focused on clarity, balance, and varietal
expression, combining rich fruit with elegance, structure, and freshness.
