Very few things are sweeter than ice cream, but this story may melt your heart. 🍦
When Doc's Ice Cream & Coffee opened its doors in 2021, one of our very first team members was Madelyn—better known to us as Maddie. As one of our youngest employees, she quickly proved herself to be one of our most dependable, hardworking, and dedicated staff members. She always showed up with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic, that made her an important part of the Doc's family.
In April of 2022, fate stepped in. After a last-minute call off, Maddie picked up a shift on her day off. That same day, Caleb stopped in as a customer. The rest, my friends, was history. A true honest-to-goodness love story that started off with shy texts and cute dates, that blossomed into the beautiful couple we are making this post about.
When Caleb reached out last year and asked if he could propose to Maddie at Doc's, we were honored and excited to be a small part of such a special moment in their story.
Fast forward to this past week, and we were once again touched to see Maddie and Caleb include Doc's as one of the locations for their engagement photos.
To say we're proud is an understatement. We are so grateful to have been a small part of their journey and even more blessed to know them both and watch them grow into the incredible people they are today.

This is a great read about the difference between cold foam and sweet cream!

At Doc's we use non-fat milk to make a light, airy traditional cold foam! We can make cold foam with different syrup flavors or milks, but it does alter the texture slightly when using a different type of milk or if you add flavor.
