I’ve been feeling extra sentimental this week.

We celebrated two years of Babu on Sunday, and today is another really special day for me and my family. October 6 is the day my parents came to America.

So much of why I had the courage to open Babu in the first place comes from them. I grew up watching them work incredibly hard, take chances, build a life here, and create so much for our family. They’ve always been my biggest inspiration, and I know I wouldn’t be doing any of this without them.

And then Sunday happened. SO many of you showed up to celebrate two years with us, and it was one of those days where I looked around and thought, how lucky are we that this is ours?!

This community welcomed Babu with open arms from the very beginning, and somehow you continue to make it feel that way two years later.

Just a really special week over here. Grateful for my parents, grateful for Babu, and very grateful for all of you. Thank you for celebrating with us!! xx

Hi friends!!! Babu turns TWO this Sunday and we really just want to celebrate with all of you.

We say it all the time, but this community welcomed Babu with open arms from the very beginning, and somehow it still feels that way two years later. We love this little place and all of you who have made it what it is.

So come hang with us Sunday. We’ll have $1.06 Babu Lattes all day, flash tattoos, a DJ, plenty of w**e, and a specialty birthday cocktail.

Come for the latte, stay for the good vibes, and help us celebrate two years of Babu. We can’t wait to see you!!!

Sharing food is basically a love language in both our cultures.

The garam masala meatballs are one of my favorite examples of how those worlds come together at Babu: garam masala, lamb meatballs, tzatziki, date sauce, and warm pita.

A little Indian, a little Greek, and very much Babu.

Just don’t take the last one.
