A long-awaited plan will unfold its first of many layers this weekend, paving the way for many more weekends, menu items, and collaborations to come.

Call it the super soft launch of our weekend residency inside Nova.

Starting this weekend, we’ll be serving up dayside fuel every Friday–Sunday from 8am–1pm, featuring a full Misfit menu operated by our team, with indoor & outdoor seating (while the weather allows for outside)

Nova is fundamentally Misfit after dark, which is what prompted this whole conversation in the first place. Upon first visit there was something incredible special yet so familiar. They keep it fair and for the people. They serve incredible food and drinks, staff the kindest people, and ultimately just want everyone to have a good time — very much in line with our philosophy at Misfit.

They’ve also built their business with a focus on collaboration. Over the years they have opened their space and menu to food operators, breweries, distilleries, musicians and now a coffee company! Kinsley’s Smokehouse Deli is a great example as a small gig pop-up turned food time kitchen, We hope Misfit can follow in a similar footsteps - SO COME BUY COFFEE! 😉

We’re beyond eager to bring what we do to more people, work alongside the Nova crew & partners.
Continuing our mission on making coffee fun, accessible, and interesting.

and last but not least we are ABSOLUTELY eager to make some awesome coffee/café inspired dayside cocktails - again. If you didn’t know, there was a time years ago when Misfit had a full cocktail menu at our old Uptown location, this partnership is going to reopen some of those recipe books — and plenty of new ones in the weeks to come.

NEW SHOP: takecare.msp just opened across the river, and they’ve got some Misfit goods on the shelves.

They’re carrying a selection of our retail coffee and are currently brewing our El Salvador Pacamara as a slow-brew coffee.

“What’s slow-brew?” Go find out at Take Care 😉 Trust us—it’s worth it.

We’re excited to have Misfit in such a great new space with tons of history attached to it and even more excited about some fun collaborations we’ve got in the works. Stay tuned.

Fun side note: Take Care is in the iconic former Kopplin’s location—the very first coffee shop I ever drank coffee at after moving to Minnesota, back when Misfit was still just an idea. It’s pretty surreal to now have our coffee being served in that same space. Thanks to the Take Care team for bringing us along.

Coming at you hot… 😉

Our classic and seasonal drinks, reinvented as popsicles.

Coffee / Matcha / Chai / Mixers
Whole milk / Oat milk / No milk
Espresso / Cold brew — all of it.

No fake ingredients. No weird stuff. Just our freshly roasted coffee, house-made syrups, and dairy or oat frozen into a ready-to-rip popsicle.

Each Misfitsicle is just under half the size of one of our regular drinks and packs nearly a full shot of espresso or a serving of matcha, depending on the flavor.

1 for $5 // 2 for $8

Available in the shop only…for now. The trucks and events are getting them soon.

We’re teaming up with Lily Fitts for her upcoming show at 7th St Entry on June 18.

Lily is a huge coffee fan, and one of her favorite parts of touring is finding great coffee in every city she visits. We wanted to create something special for her stop in Minneapolis, so we took her go-to drink—an iced hazelnut cinnamon latte—and gave it the Misfit treatment.

Introducing MISSFITTS

Made with our house-made horchata featuring rice, hazelnuts, cinnamon, honey, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, and Honey Oat cereal. It’s creamy, nutty, nostalgic, and available this week only while supplies last.
