• What would you say to someone coming to the cafe for the first time?

Truly a hidden gem (becoming more well known) that will get you a marvelous coffee or specialty drink and provides you with so many tasty homemade pastries and ice cream. You’ll definitely keep coming back and be part of the special community!

• What is your role in the community?

As a baby boomer I feel the need & desire to support and promote small local businesses so they can continue to grow, make a difference, thrive and support communities. Where we choose to spend our money does make an impact and is important to how this world operates and takes care of its people!

I truly believe what the great Paul Wellstone said, “We all do better when we all do better!’

• What’s your go-to order?

My usual drinks are either a large iced Matcha with no sweetener & almond milk or. Lg iced chai almond milk latte. Both are delicious and are driven my mood and my day activity.

I seem to be a creature of habit, which is boring sometimes! . I think this summer I’m going to try a cold press and get back into coffee for my caffeine fix. Look out, change could be coming!

• What do you love about Fawkes Alley?

Baristas are super friendly, diverse, helpful, interesting and welcoming! One of the Co-Founders, Caleb is truly a gem and hires all the wonderful team members. Fawkes Alley is a fun place to meet friends, do work & relax - everyone is welcome - I enjoy seeing people of all ages, cultures, backgrounds and occupations come in and be treated well. Some of the best and interesting conversations can be heard and shared here.

Come join us to kick off the beginning of the World Cup! We'll be showing USA vs Paraguay on the big screen at The Journey [1625 Hennepin Ave, Suite 150] just down the alley towards the park from us. Doors open at 7:15pm. The cafe is staying open late & https://www.gainoimpls.com/ is opening up their back window for takeout food & snacks! VAMOS! All are welcome!
