We created this course for you to learn how to make really fantastic coffee at home. You’ll leave this class knowing the basics of extraction, coffee ratios and recipes, and of course we’ll send you home with some coffee.

We are excited to welcome this black honey processed gem from Finca La Julia micromill to our coffee lineup. This coffee has tasting notes of cooked strawberries, pie crust, and cocoa.🥧🍓
 
So... what is a black honey process coffee?⬇️
 
The “color” of a honey-processed coffee depends on how much mucilage is retained and how long it dries. Black Honey retains almost all of the mucilage and can take 2 to 3 weeks to dry, while Yellow Honey retainsabout half and takes 1 to 2 weeks.  
 
We have been lucky enough to enjoy several amazing coffees from this micromill in Costa Rica’s Central Valley. Try this delicious roast in our cafes or take it home for yourself on spyhousecoffeeroasters.com👩‍💻✨
