To our Kenosha community, we want to give you a little update. 🇵🇷❤️
As many of you already know, our food truck is now closed because we are 100% focused on finishing the final details of our restaurant so we can soon provide you with the full Sabor Divino experience we’ve all been waiting for.
And yes, we know it has taken time. We also see and hear the comments: “When are they opening?”, “They’re never going to open,” “It’s taking too long…” And we understand that from the outside, it may seem simple.
But there’s a lot that people don’t see behind the scenes.
When a company you hired fails to deliver in the middle of a project, it can completely disrupt everything you had planned. In our case, we basically had to start over from zero.
Starting over means picking yourself back up, recovering from the money that was lost, investing all over again, finding new people to complete the work, and dealing with processes that are sometimes completely out of your hands.
It’s not as simple as saying, “I’m going to finish the restaurant tomorrow,” and it’s done.
This takes a tremendous amount of investment, sacrifice, time, and patience. And we also want everyone to remember that Sabor Divino is a family-owned business. We’re not a large franchise or a corporation with millions of dollars behind us. We’re a family working hard, making sacrifices, and reinvesting everything we can to make this project a reality.
Has it taken longer than we wanted? Yes.
Have we given up? Absolutely not.
And today, we are closer than ever. 🙏🏽❤️
Thank you to everyone who has been patient, everyone who supported us at the food truck, and everyone who is still waiting for us.
We hope to have that same love and support when we finally open the doors of Sabor Divino Kenosha. 🇵🇷❤️
We’re almost there.
