Boo-ZY Brushstrokes Paint & Sip brought out everyone’s artistic side last night 🎨👻🍷

Everyone was IN IT TO WIN IT—this might’ve been the most focused group of painters we’ve ever had LOL 😆 The concentration was serious, and so was the fun. Between the sipping, painting, laughs and rogue brushstrokes it was a night to remember!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and Heather for teaching—you ALL made the evening such a good time.

Some crooks get caught. Ours get broiled 🦀🔥

Our 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘴 crab cakes have two aliases on the 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘚𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘱 menu—and both mean business.

🦀 “Crabby Crooks” — Six 1oz crab balls, broiled and served with your choice of house cocktail sauce, tartar sauce or both. These say, “I’ll have some bites.”

🦀 “Claw Abiding Cakes” — Two 4.2oz crab cakes, broiled and served with chili asian-fig brussel sprouts and your choice of house cocktail sauce, tartar sauce or both. These say, “I’m in this to win this.”

Both equally good. One just comes with a bigger commitment 😉

We just mixed up this batch, and they’re ready to back up our claim: “we’ve got some of the best!”

Some desserts come with a story—and this one comes with a whole lot of trust 🩷

Serving someone else’s creation is nerve-racking in a way we don’t often talk about. It’s their name, their brand, and the empire they’ve poured themselves into being entrusted to your kitchen. Every plate you send out represents their hard work alongside your own. That carries weight—a lot of weight.

We spent over a week brainstorming how to present this dessert—how to honor 𝘔𝘺 𝘚𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳'𝘴 𝘍𝘢𝘶𝘭𝘵 standards while giving it the 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘚𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘱 stamp.

For the first time ever, there was no drawing from Angie (😉), no instructions for plating, no pointers. Just TRUST and BELIEF in what we do here.

Then Wednesday evening, the sisters, friends and family came in to dine. And, of course, they ordered their own dessert. Because they love their sweet treats? Absolutely! But we also knew this was their chance to see how we handled something so personal to them.

And then came the words that let us finally exhale:
“The plating is beautiful, beyond our expectations, you nailed it. We knew you would elevate it and you did.”

My Sisters Fault—thank you for collaborating with us, trusting our kitchen and Chef Liz and allowing us to put our touch on your incredible dessert within our four walls. We’re honored, humbled, and already looking forward to what we’ll create together as the seasons change.
