Pumpkin painting, spiced sweets, and a fall evening with the community - are y’all ready for Fall Fest? 🥰🍂

Tomorrow (Sunday, October 11) come see us from 6–8 PM at the Historic 1904! They’ll be train rides for the kiddos, pumpkin painting and festive games. TXSK will have fall desserts and drinks for the kids and the grown-ups who came along, too. 😉

Guess what’s back? Our seasonal pumpkin loaf is here starting today! 🎃🍞

Moist pumpkin cake with a cinnamon sugar filling and buttery streusel topping. It pairs beautifully with a fall coffee, from our Toffee Nut latte (caramel + pecan) to a classic Pumpkin Spice. It’s seriously delicious! 😋

We’ve got a good Wednesday going at TXSK! ☺️🌿

If you’re already planning for lunch, our fried rice is on the menu today! 😋 Stir-fried vegetables, jasmine rice, and a sweet and spicy chili sauce on the side. It’s a generous portion with enough for two servings — but we fully understand if there’s nothing left for later 😂

We’ve also got our new Chicken Bacon Wraps available! It’s our very own BLT-style wrap with grilled chicken, cheddar, and ranch dip. Filling but light, and absolutely delicious ☺️🥓🌿

Last but not least, Mark with Wilson’s Sharpening Services will be set up sharpening knives, scissors, garden tools, and more 🔪✂️ So if you’ve got something at home that’s been getting duller by the week, today’s a good day to finally get sharpening checked off the to-do list and make everyday jobs a little easier.

Lunch for you, sharper tools for home - we’ll call that a productive Wednesday 😉

Live music, pumpkins, family games, train rides for the kiddos — plus TXSK food and drinks to go along with it!

Our sourdough pumpkin patch has officially arrived at TXSK! 🎃🍞

October felt like a good excuse to have a little fun in the bakery, so today’s loaves are looking a bit more festive. We’ve got spooky little ghosts, jack-o’-lanterns, and plenty of personality baked into every one. Some look mischievous, some are downright cute, and no two are quite alike. 👻

We really do believe food should be fun. Our cooks, bakers, and baristas genuinely enjoy what they make, and that care finds its way into everything from the pastry case and coffee bar to lunch and fresh-baked bread. ☺️👩🏻‍🍳

Happy Rainy Day, Menard! 🥰☔️

October wasted no time setting the mood, y’all! Cooler temps outside, warm ovens inside, and the smell of fresh baked pastries and coffee filling TXSK this morning. It’s a Texan’s perfect day 😌

Of course, we have the creature comforts to complement it! 🍂🥐 Fresh coffee, hot matcha, golden croissants, mini pecan pies, and lunches and dinners ready to grab and go!

We’ll make the food — y’all enjoy the moment ☺️

It rained, y’all!! 🥰☔️

It’s a happy day in the Hill Country: cooler weather, a light shower, and two TXSK specialties on the menu!

1) First up, we have Honey Cake! 🐝🍰 8 layers of thin honey biscuits sandwiched between 8 layers of sweet, tangy sour cream frosting. Together, they make one beautiful 16-layer dessert that’s light, decadent, and absolutely addictive 😍

2) Our Mediterranean Couscous Salad is also here this week! Fluffy couscous, cucumbers, chickpeas, golden raisins, red onion, feta, almonds, fresh spinach, and a honey lemon vinaigrette. It’s filling but fresh, with plenty of protein and fiber to keep you going 🌿🍋

Y’all stay safe and enjoy the weather! It’s a great day for coffee and comforts ☺️

It’s National Coffee Day! 🎉☕️

Of course, y’all know we’re coffee fanatics, so here are our top three coffee and caffeine facts:

1. Why did caffeine develop in plants? Turns out, it works as a natural pesticide! 🌿 The caffeine found in nectar can also help improve pollinators’ memory. 🐝

2. Guess which country drinks the most coffee per capita? Finland! 🇫🇮 The average Finn drinks roughly 3 times as much coffee as the average American 😱☕️

3. Coffee was once called the “w**e of Arabia.” ☕️🍷 The Arabic word qahwa was first linked with w**e before becoming the word for coffee. Eventually, it helped give us the word “coffee.” Who knew?

You learn something new every day! And we’re always happy when that something involves coffee. Happy National Coffee Day, y’all! 🥰
