Kinda chic when “We’re in this togetHER” becomes more than something people say. 🩷💛

When one of our GIRLS experienced the loss of a dear loved one, the sistHERhood showed up.

We visited. We prayed. We embraced. We stood with her family during the homegoing service. We offered words of love and encouragement. We sang songs of encouragement. We prepared the food, set up the repast, and served wherever we were needed.

None of these acts could remove the pain of her loss, but together they carried a powerful message:

You are seen. You are valued. You are loved.

And you will never walk through a painful season alone.

At GIRLS, we believe the love and light of Jesus Christ should be more than something we speak—it should be something people can experience through us.

During the loss of dear loved ones of our sistHERs, GIRLS provides financial gifts, food services for the repast, serving at the repast, and doing all that we can be be the love and light of Jesus Christ to sistHERs navigating difficult circumstances and loss.

The gifts could not solve everything, but they carried a powerful message:

You are seen. You are valued. You are loved.

And You Will Never Walk Through A Painful Season Alone
