Juarez Mexican Restaurant has been a downtown McKinney staple since 1988—and for the past 23 years, it's been in the hands of Manuel and Adelina Ortega. Manuel wanted to own his own business; Adelina took over the kitchen. 🌮
Together, they've spent a decade-plus perfecting the recipes that came with the restaurant, from all-day breakfast staples like chilaquiles and huevos rancheros to crowd favorites like caldo de res and chicken enchiladas.
About 45% of their business is repeat customers—many who say they've been coming since they were kids.
