Live Blues by Chaos in the Kitchen

Bierock is proud to present live blues music the evening of Saturday October 17.

We're also got a Watch Party for the Wisconsin Badgers football game as they visit UCLA at the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Here's how things will work. We'll have the Badgers game on the big projection screen TV for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.

At halftime, the game will switch to the small screen as music is set to begin around 8:00 p.m.

Gameday means our popular Tailgate Bierock will be on special. It's stuffed with brats, cheese curds, sauerkraut, onions and served with a side of Sriracha Mayo dipping sauce.

As for music, returning to our performance space is Madison's own Chaos in the Kitchen.

The band could last be found performing at Bierock back in April on Record Store Day.

The lineup includes Tim Seery on drums, Kara Rogers on bass, Eric Finchon harmonica and vocals, and Wayne Seiter on guitar and vocals.

There is no cover charge to customers, although tips are appreciated.

Bierock is your source to feature some of the best local musical talent in the greater Madison area.

What is a humble comfort food restaurant and bar by day, transforms into a local music club by night. It's the scene to catch emerging and live, local talent.

Bierock is happy to offer a venue for live music for our customers and provide an outlet for the creative community.

If you know someone that would be interested in this event, please forward this email to them.

Live Music by Groovulous Glove, Green Situation & Minglewood!

Everything worked perfectly. The Milwaukee Brewers took care of business and swept the Los Angeles Dodgers in four games.

Now we don't have to worry about baseball and live music happening simultaneously.

So on Friday October 16, let's just enjoy the music and consider it a celebration! We've got a triple header lined up for you.

As the story goes, approximately 29 years ago Groovulous Glove and Green Situation played their first show together in Platteville, Wis.

The connection was made a few months prior when Ryan Dohse left Green Situation and Platteville and returned to his hometown of Middleton. There he joined Groovulous Glove to play keyboards.

The two bands played dozens of shows together over the years and even spawned a side-project called Minglewood led by Ryan with members of both bands.

All three bands became staples of the Madison jam and festival scene early aughts, and even shared the stage with notable acts of the time like the Big Wu, Karl Denson, Keller Williams, Papa Mali, Devon "Dread" Evans (Bob Marley percussion).

That all ended when the Glove broke up in '07 and GS/Minglewood drummer Chris Wasmund moved to Switzerland in '08.

So after years of planning and coordination we bring you the ultimate reunion of Madison jam bands for one night only!

If you know someone that would be interested in this event, please forward this email to them.
