TO OUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS/FRIENDS/FAMILY
Thank you for all your love and support. We are truly thankful for every single one of you. That is why after nearly 6 years of serving and getting to know you, we are very sad to announce the closure of Good Goose Cafe in Larchmont.
Saturday, December 14th will be our last day of service, as our lease is ending at the end of the year. We tried to negotiate a different outcome; however, the landlord intends to utilize this property for his family’s business.
We’ve been through some tough times since we started in March, 2019. Less than a year later, we had the lock down during the pandemic that started in 2020. Then, we had the fire incident in 2021, followed by the movie industry strikes, and a couple of burglaries. We know that without your support our restaurant would not have survived a single one of those moments.
We promise you, this is not the end - just the beginning of a new chapter for The Good Goose. Hopefully, that chapter will be written soon, and you all will continue to fill the pages. We will keep you posted on our progress.
We would like to extend our sincerest and heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you who has supported us over the years. Many of you are like our family. In fact, we eat with you more than we do our own family members. Thank you all and we hope to continue to be able to serve you again in the very near future.
Last, but definitely not least, we also would like to express our sincere gratitude to our staff members for your love of work, dedication, devotion to our customers, and thank you for your friendship, and support. We obviously could not have done any of this without each and every one of you. We cannot thank you enough for taking this journey with us. Thank you so much for showing up every day, giving it your all, and being part of our family.
While we prepare for what is next, please come say goodbye for now, and we hope you will join us and help make these remaining days just as great and memorable as the previous 6 years.
