Sometimes food takes a backseat, even for me. Jazz Night at Trio's was absolutely fantastic. They do this in the party room every other Thursday. Thank you to Becky and Jay for inviting us out night. And to Audrey who recommended I order the crab salad and fried green tomatoes dish. I was off duty tonight and put my phone up after I took this pic of the band.

Vegan Farro Risotto – Our favorite ancient wheat grain stars in our take on risotto ~ assorted mushrooms from our friends at Driftwood Farms in Clinton sautéed with leeks, onion and garlic simmered in a vegetable broth with white wine, vegan butter and parmesan-asiago plant-based cheese ~ finished with blistered cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, toasted pine nuts, fresh peas & charred asparagus tips
